The Different Types of Coffee Makers
Drip Coffee Makers
Drip coffee makers can make a large amount of coffee great if you have a group of people drinking coffee or a few in the family who like coffee. They are easy to use, set up, and make a decent cup of coffee!
Espresso Coffee Makers
Espresso coffee makers make only one or two shots of espresso at a time, which is great if it is just for you. Or you want to make americanos. If you have a lot of people who drink coffee, it can take up a good bit of time-making coffee.
Single Serve Coffee Makers
Single-serve coffee makers are similar to espressos, they are suitable for just one person, but if you have to make a lot of coffee, I would recommend a drip coffee maker at least you can set it up and turn it on and grab a cup when it is ready.
Pod coffee machine
Similar to espresso and single-serve coffee makers. Makes one coffee at a time. They are easy to use and fairly clean with no mess afterwards. Pour water into the machine reservoir, turn on pop in the pod, press the button, and your coffee will be made! One of the best for beginners!
Pour Over Coffee Makers
These come in many sizes from single to 8 cup serving but require a bit of work but give a nice coffee.
French Presses
One of the easier ones to make simply put in the required coffee, pour in hot water, let sit for approx 4 minutes, press slowly to the bottom and then it is ready to serve.
Aeropress
Aeropress produces a shot of espresso and works similar to a syringe. The beauty of an Aeropress is it easy to carry with you if you are travelling a lot.
The best coffee maker for beginners depends on your needs?
When you are new to making coffee, the process can seem daunting. There are so many different ways to make coffee and so many different machines that it can be hard to know where to start. The good news is that there is no one perfect coffee machine for beginners. If you want a simple machine that will just get the job done, then a drip coffee maker is a good choice. These machines are easy to use, and they make a decent cup of coffee. If you want a little more control over your cup of coffee, then a French press might be a better choice. French presses give you more control over the brewing process, and they can produce a very rich and flavorful cup of coffee.
